Ian Somerhalder  junto con sus compañeros de reparto, atendieron el pasado fin de semana a la prensa y a  sus fans en Barcelona, donde se celebró la BloodyNight Con  ‘Crónicas Vampíricas’  (‘The Vampire Diaries), La popular serie de novelas estadounidense de vampiros, para jóvenes adultos, escritas por L. J. Smith. Esta es la segunda edición de esta convención organizada por KLZ events  que durante dos días organiza sesión de fotos y entrevistas de los protagonistas con sus admiradores.


Una de las afortunadas en posar con el guapísimo Damon Salvatore de la serie,  fue Inés Andres, amiga de esta casa quién le hizo al actor un regalo muy original, un diseño Antonio Ben Chimol OO, que por lo visto fue de su agrado porque no dudo en lucirlo durante todo el evento. Well done Ines, hot bracelet for a hot Vampire!!!

WHAT HE LIKES THE MOST OF HIS CITY?


 UT: Istanbul is a beautiful city where you are able to  feel the past and the future times togheter. My favorite thing is to have delicious fish and turkish drink RAKI. Also play Backgammon, which is like our traditional game and when we are playing this game we use to smoking water pipe with the  Bosphorous landscape behind. One of our best location is Grand Bazaar it is the oldest natural shopping mall in the world. We have lots of things that you can find and should see in Istanbul.

What made an Italian designer based in Spain decide to showcase his designs in Lebanon? 

It’s  quite simple, actually. A bracelet made by an Italian based in Spain –  me – was sold to a Danish lady. She met a woman from Lebanon on a plane,  who fell in love with the bracelet, so she bought it! That’s how my  first bracelet arrived in Beirut. The ways of God are infinite…


What was the moment that made your career?

I  had some debts that kept on rising after I was involved in a  badly-organised top-level concert that took place in 1996 on the island  of Sardinia. So in order to repay these debts I started selling my  bracelets at the nearby clubs. It soon proved to be much more successful  than the concerts themselves!


Tell us about the use of magnetic locking clasps in your work. 

I  was lost between the different kinds of locking systems for  accessories. Then I drew a magnetic clasp for a bracelet I was wearing.  That was the day it all started. Now I’ve become fully committed to this  fun, versatile mechanism.

A new Antonio Ben Chimol OO boutique opened recently, just in the sunny and colourful city of Guayaquil, Ecuador.


Thanks, once again, to the vision of this fashion professionals and their confidence, betting on this original and quality product. Elizabeth and her team became distributors for the area opening this showcase in the most exclusive mall of the Guayaquil’s coast, San Marino Shopping Center, placed in the commercial center of this Pacific’s pearl, as this city is usually named.


Guayaquil,  besides being the most populated city of Ecuador has one of the most important harbours of the pacific coast, turning this spot in the political and economic heart of the country.
