UT: Istanbul is a beautiful city where you are able to feel the past and the future times togheter. My favorite thing is to have delicious fish and turkish drink RAKI. Also play Backgammon, which is like our traditional game and when we are playing this game we use to smoking water pipe with the Bosphorous landscape behind. One of our best location is Grand Bazaar it is the oldest natural shopping mall in the world. We have lots of things that you can find and should see in Istanbul.

Y es que el diseñador italiano, está logrando hacerse sitio entre las marcas de lujo ya consolidadas en el mercado. Así lo confirma, Chic now el semanal de moda de la cadena más popular del mundo árabe Al Aan TV (Árabe) especializado en las últimas tendencias de moda, joyería y accesorios, cubriendo en sus reportajes, eventos de pasarelas internacionales, entrevistas con diseñadores y presentando las boutiques más prestigiosas del país.

What made an Italian designer based in Spain decide to showcase his designs in Lebanon?
It’s quite simple, actually. A bracelet made by an Italian based in Spain – me – was sold to a Danish lady. She met a woman from Lebanon on a plane, who fell in love with the bracelet, so she bought it! That’s how my first bracelet arrived in Beirut. The ways of God are infinite…
What was the moment that made your career?

I had some debts that kept on rising after I was involved in a badly-organised top-level concert that took place in 1996 on the island of Sardinia. So in order to repay these debts I started selling my bracelets at the nearby clubs. It soon proved to be much more successful than the concerts themselves!
Tell us about the use of magnetic locking clasps in your work.
I was lost between the different kinds of locking systems for accessories. Then I drew a magnetic clasp for a bracelet I was wearing. That was the day it all started. Now I’ve become fully committed to this fun, versatile mechanism.

La marca Antonio Ben Chimol OO abre su primera tienda en el Medio Oriente. De la mano de nuestro distribuidora Oficial Pia Rai, los diseños de la marca estarán a partir de ahora disponibles en la tienda/show room de la ciudad de Beirut – Lebanon, capital intelectual del mundo árabe e importante centro comercial y turístico.
La inauguración se llevará a cabo el 02 de febrero del 2011, en un cocktail que se ofrecerá en la tienda ubicada en el centro comercial Starco Center, a la que asistirán amigos y periodistas.

El próximo domingo, 25 de abril, Cuatro estrena en ‘prime time’ ‘Bodas cruzadas’. Este formato original de Boomerang TV producido para la cadena de Prisa sustituirá al ‘reality’ ‘Perdidos en la tribu’, que ponía punto y final a su segunda temporada esta semana.
Patricia Gaztañaga presentará este nuevo espacio, lo que supondrá su debut en Cuatro. Ella será la encargada de hacer todo lo posible para que varias parejas, dispuestas a renunciar a muchas cosas, consigan la boda de sus sueños.
Al casting del programa se presentaron 2.600 parejas, todo un éxito de convocatoria. Todas ellas han querido que el día más importante de su vida lo organice Cuatro y la cadena hará todo lo posible para que sus sueños se cumplan.
Patricia Gaztañaga, es una cara muy conocida en la televisión española. Pasó por Antena 3 en 2001 para dirigir el magacín ‘El Diario de Patricia’, donde estuvo cinco años al frente de este programa. Ahora, su aventura empezará en Cuatro con ‘Bodas Cruzadas’.
El estilismo de la presentadora es muy cuidado, lucirá accesorios de la marca Antonio Ben Chimol, en la foto la elegante gargantilla “Snake”.

And regarding its name, I wanted to name them Patriot so there’s not only missiles called like that in the world.

Rock on the Rocks
ABSOLUT acaba de lanzar en España, una espectacular edición de su botella ROCK EDITION , en cantidad limitada. La original propuesta, viste la habitual botella con chupa de cuero envejecido, tachuelas y cremallera, rindiendo un sentido homenaje a la estética, el estilo y el modo de vida del Rock.
El lanzamiento de la campaña de Absolut Rock Edition ha contado con la colaboración del grupo australiano, Wolfmother uno de los grupos revelación en los últimos años, y de el reconocido fotógrafo Daniel Clinch, experto en captar la iconografía rockera, y juntos nos enseñan en la campaña publicitaria un estupendo documento fotográfico realizado en el legendario Sunsent Sound Studio en Hollywood y en el no menos mítico Roosevelt Hotel.
En lo que respecta al diseño de la chupa de cuero, la diseñadora Belga Natalia Brilli, ha sido la encargada de dar vida a este original traje, quién en su última colección ha forrado, también, en cuero instrumentos musicales tales como guitarras, baterías y amplificadores.
Como bien sabemos, el cuero es una de las tendencias esta temporada Otoño-Invierno 2009. En Vestidos, faldas, leggins, cazadoras, botas y todo tipo de accesorios…el cuero arrasa.
