The Designer

Antonio Ben Chimol, knows really well how to mix passion, courage, elegance, irreverence and provocation in each of his designs. Born in Bolognia (Italy), he worked for the fashion world at cities like Milán or París, settling 5 years ago his base camp in Barcelona, where he lives nowadays.

Natural born creator, he looks for inspiration in non-usual places where technology, mechanics or aeronautics bright; primal matter for his creations applied to their work, usability, resistance and originality.

Twelve years ago he was known globally as the first jewelry designer using the magnetic locking clasp, giving them that unique touch and simplifying the ease of use as well as increasing their durability.

These unique designs are based on the use of stainless steel, metals, minerals, plastic among other materials not used on conventional jewelry.

The best example is the steel, hard as a rock and cool as ice, transformed by the hand of the artist into a sensual and dynamic material, enhancing, in a second level, energy y strength of the metals. Another expression from his innovative concept is the pulverizing process for glass, porcelain, metals or minerals; ingredients of his master recipe for his bracelets and necklaces, adding stunning colours and textures.

Another breakpoint on his designs is the discerning demand selecting the materials by himself, choosing the best leather and finishings.
